There is no better food history book

The “Il Tributo” restaurant in Villa Barberino in Meleto Valdarno in May 1991 was not born by chance. Grandma Attilia, the mother of Luciano Boni’s mother, who created the project and who gave herself to the latter throughout her life, had always known how to cook very well, like so many housewives of the past.

Poor, simple things. Egg pasta, roasts, meats, typical Tuscan sauces, lamb, field salads, desserts. That tradition was consequently handed down to his daughter Aramissa and so the latter did with Luciano, her son.

So it was that when he had the opportunity, the latter in 1991 created this welcoming and elegant place at the same time, where people on Sundays or weekends could taste products that did not detach themselves from the Tuscan tradition but revisited with refinement.

A combination of custom and innovation that has always been reflected in the environment itself.
Delicate but without ever abandoning its origin.

Today the chef Roberto Nocentini with experience in high-level gourmet kitchens works daily in the field of culinary research in order to develop new recipes for excellent Tuscan gastronomy.
